イタリア家具の象徴〈Poltrona Frau〉とのコラボレーション。拙作〈Bone Flower〉のための特別展示台をデザインした。最高級レザー「ペレ・フラウ」 を使用し、Poltrona Frauの職人がひとつずつ丹念に製作をしてくれた。牛が生きた証でもある、牛革の表面に見られる様々な表情に敬意を払い、引張と圧縮のデザインによって「生きた痕跡」を再び取り戻したいと思った。それぞれの展示台に部位の違いによる豊かなテクスチャーを創出することで、自然界に見られる「揺らぎ」の可視化を意図している。

Collaboration with the iconic Italian furniture brand Poltrona Frau. I designed a special display stand for my work Bone Flower. Using the finest leather "Pelle Frau", Poltrona Frau's artisans carefully crafted each piece. I wanted to pay homage to the various expressions seen on the surface of cowhide, which is also proof that the cow lived, and to bring back the "traces of life" through tension and compression design. By creating rich textures based on the differences in parts of each display stand, I intended to visualize the "fluctuations" seen in nature.
